Valley Art: The Next Chapter
The event runs November 11 to November 19 and will be action packed with events and the opportunity to meet some of the artists that make Valley Art what it is.
Saturday November 11 from 6pm to 8:30pm, Coloring Book Night. Bring your own book, or purchase a Forest Grove themed coloring book from visiting Public Arts Commission representative. All ages welcome, no charge, come early to browse all of the new artwork on display!
Tuesday November 14 from 3pm to 6pm clay artists Michelle Gallagher and Jan Igaki will be demonstrating.
Wednesday November 15 from 3pm to 6pm painters Helvi Smith and April Hoff will be painting on various surfaces.
Thursday November 16 from 3pm to 6pm Lyn Jacobs and Polly Gottesman will be showing and talking about how they make wreaths that birds can eat.
Friday November 17 Valley Art Education Chair April Hoff will host Fri-Date Night from 6pm to 8pm facilitating creative time with your kids while you browse the gallery. Only $5 with Valley Art purchase receipt, otherwise $10/hr. Email education@valleyart.org for reservation link, drop-ins okay if space.
Sunday November 19 12-4pm is Family/Community Day at Valley Art. We will have a fun art project suitable for all members of our community. See you in the classroom!
The gallery has extended hours during the Annual Artist Event, we are open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and Noon to 4pm on Sunday.
